Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the messy release of their bloated 2012 album trilogy and frontman Billie Joe Armstrong's subsequent stint in rehab, the legendary trio returned to basics. Self-produced by the band, the record focuses on tight, highly energetic pop-punk anthems heavily inspired by the tumultuous political climate and social unrest in America. It was widely celebrated as a focused, refreshing return to form that debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.
