Blobs

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Inspired by a charming birthday card drawn by his four-year-old son Leo, 'Blobs' represents a beautiful, meditative instrumental statement from British jazz pianist and composer Greg Foat. Released via Blue Crystal Records, the nine-track album operates as ambient library music scored primarily for woodwinds and vintage synthesizers. The peaceful, calm compositions develop slowly, weaving delicate clarinet and flute lines through warm, hovering electronic pads to capture a serene, childlike sense of wonder.
