Album Notes & Community Reviews

The final full-length album from the Richmond, Virginia-based ensemble is a masterclass in impossibly quiet, glacial post-rock and slowcore. Abandoning heavy guitar crescendos entirely, the band focuses on delicate, intertwining violin and vibraphone arrangements that support Champ Bennett's whisper-soft vocal deliveries. The record is celebrated for its remarkable restraint, functioning as a beautiful, devastatingly melancholic lullaby.
