Biography
Gregor Samsa is an American post-rock band from Richmond, Virginia, formed in 2000 and named for the hero of Franz Kafka's The Metamorphosis. Fronted by Champ Bennett with dual vocals from Bennett and Nikki King, it released the albums '55:12' (2006) and 'Rest' (2008), piano led records closer to shoegaze and slowcore than to conventional post-rock, after early EPs in 2002 and 2003.
