Album Notes & Community Reviews

Inspired by frontman Tony McPhee's severe panic attacks, Groundhogs delivered a remarkably heavy, intensely anxious blues-rock classic. 'Split' is a fiercely energetic, wildly manic exploration of heavy psych, balancing wonderfully rhythmic, highly complex riffing with deeply introspective, surprisingly ominous psychedelic atmospheres.
