Album Notes & Community Reviews

This remarkable cross-cultural collaboration pairs the legendary Western Saharan guitar ensemble Group Doueh with the abrasive French synth-punk trio Cheveu. Recorded over intense sessions in Dakhla, the tracking marries driving analogue synthesizers and drum machines with traditional tinariwen-style desert blues scales. The project bridges two distinct avant-garde musical philosophies into a chaotic, energetic international exchange.
