Album Notes & Community Reviews

An early full-length release from Liz Harris, 'Way Their Crept' establishes the core tenets of the Grouper sound. The album is built from hazy, lo-fi layers of guitar drone, obscured vocals, and a palpable sense of mysterious, nocturnal atmosphere. It's a raw and immersive work that laid the groundwork for her more acclaimed subsequent releases.
