Album Notes & Community Reviews

Stepping away from the four-track cassette recorders that defined their legendary lo-fi era, the Ohio collective enlisted Ric Ocasek for pristine, radio-ready production. While 'Do the Collapse' polarized longtime fans accustomed to tape hiss and fragmented songwriting, the polished fidelity highlighted the undeniable strength of Robert Pollard's anthemic power pop melodies.
