Album Notes & Community Reviews

Backed entirely by the band Cobra Verde, 'Mag Earwhig!' marks Robert Pollard's transition from lo-fi 4-track recordings to a punchier, stadium-sized indie rock sound. The album is incredibly melodic and eclectic, balancing energetic power pop anthems with weird, surreal neo-psychedelic fragments.
