Serving as the twenty-second album under the 'Guided by Voices' moniker, this release is effectively a Robert Pollard solo effort, as he plays every single instrument himself. Recorded entirely on a boombox and digital multi-track machine, the record marks a return to the incredibly scrappy, lo-fi hiss that defined the band's legendary mid-90s output. It is a charmingly chaotic, melodic blast of pure indie-rock isolation.
