Album Notes & Community Reviews

Proclaimed by frontman Robert Pollard to be the only album the legendary indie-rock band would release all year鈥攁 shocking restraint given their typically hyper-prolific output鈥攖his project is remarkably focused. The record features a highly polished, robust studio sound that perfectly highlights their unmatched knack for infectious power-pop melodies and bizarre, surrealist lyricism. It was widely embraced as one of the strongest, most consistent efforts of their extensive modern era.
