Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded live to analog tape in a Brooklyn studio, 'Welshpool Frillies' captures the unvarnished, kinetic energy of the modern Guided by Voices ensemble playing together in a room. The production choice nods to their lo-fi origins while highlighting the polished instrumental prowess of the current lineup, resulting in a warm, gritty, and fiercely energetic indie rock collection.
