Operating under an early pseudonym, avant-garde guitarist Loren Connors pays tribute to the brooding abstract expressionist paintings of Mark Rothko. The heavily improvised, painfully slow electric blues constructions create an intensely lonely and atmospheric form of ambient Americana.
