Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released under a cloud of controversy and highly publicized legal battles, 'a Gift & a Curse' finds the Atlanta rapper addressing his incarceration and subsequent release via an Alford plea. The production is distinctly mellow and minimalistic, favoring atmospheric trap beats that foreground his signature melodic flow. The project lacks the numerous high-profile guest features typical of his previous work, forcing a more solitary and scrutinized performance.
