Album Notes & Community Reviews

Arriving at the commercial zenith of the nu-metal movement, the California septet's sophomore album heavily emphasizes their fusion of aggressive hard rock and hip-hop aesthetics. 'Broke' features dense, groove-oriented guitar riffs underpinning Jahred Gomes' rapid-fire rapping and abrasive lyrical content. Featuring a high-profile guest appearance by Serj Tankian of System of a Down, the record significantly expanded their mainstream presence.
