Album Notes & Community Reviews

Further honing their darkly atmospheric, harmony-rich approach to psychedelia, this Chicago-turned-San Francisco ensemble delivered a genuinely spooky sophomore record. 'H.P. Lovecraft II' is wonderfully mellow and deeply nocturnal, matching beautifully melodic, slightly meditative folk-rock textures with a highly surreal, distinctly cosmic and atmospheric acid-rock edge.
