Album Notes & Community Reviews

Koit茅's second album is a Mande music record of warm, acoustic guitar work and traditional, groove-laden arrangements, more acoustic and introspective than his debut. It showcases Bamada, the band he formed in 1988 with childhood friends, its name the nickname for residents of Bamako, 'in the mouth of the crocodile', and it reached North America through Putumayo the following year.
