Album Notes & Community Reviews
The sophomore album by Finnish progressive group Haikara delivers a darker, more intense fusion of jazz and avant-garde rock than their debut. 'Geafar' integrates chilling brass sections, complex woodwinds, and haunting atmospheres that occasionally border on modern classical music. It is widely considered one of the finest and most demanding achievements of 1970s Nordic progressive rock.
