Album Notes & Community Reviews

Widely celebrated as one of their most monumental achievements, 'Departure Songs' is a double-album masterpiece of symphonic post-rock and shoegaze from Nashville duo Hammock. The record blends soaring, feedback-drenched guitar walls with lush orchestral strings and emotional, high-pitched vocal harmonies. Contemplating themes of mortality, grief, and ultimate transformation, the nineteen tracks deliver an epic, cinematic, and deeply cathartic soundscape.
