Album Notes & Community Reviews

The first installment of their highly acclaimed, grief-focused trilogy, 'Mysterium' is a somber and highly cinematic modern classical album from Hammock. Written in the immediate aftermath of the tragic passing of Marc Byrd's nephew, the record features soaring choral arrangements, mournful string sections, and deep drone loops. It stands as a profound, elegant, and comforting requiem that successfully maps the immense architecture of human loss.
