Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released as a deeply comforting and highly cinematic full-length statement, 'Nevertheless' represents the latest studio album from Nashville ambient post-rock duo Hammock. The record's fluid, water-like pacing is heavily inspired by a quiet country walk and the natural flows of seasons. By layering field recordings over vaporous synth pads and low-end weight, the compositions capture a peaceful, humid sense of suspended time.
