Collaborating loosely via remote recording sessions, the British multi-instrumentalists constructed a gorgeous, incredibly peaceful instrumental concept album heavily inspired by a fictional children's book. The record delicately weaves lush orchestral string sections, gentle piano playing, and pastoral acoustic guitars with subtle field recordings of rainfall and birdsong. It functions as a breathtakingly cinematic, deeply comforting piece of modern chamber folk.
