On Giacometti

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally composed as a film score detailing the life of the renowned Swiss sculptor, this project is a masterclass in delicate, impressionistic modern classical music. The entirely instrumental album relies heavily on stark, meditative piano arrangements that feel remarkably calm and romantic. Recorded in a secluded Swiss mountain setting, the release highlights Rani's unparalleled ability to capture profound, sentimental silence.
