Album Notes & Community Reviews

With his remarkably smooth, resonant baritone, the bandleader fronts the Brazos Valley Boys for a highly polished, impeccably swinging session. The sophisticated arrangements blend the driving dance rhythms of classic western swing with the glossy, high-fidelity production techniques emerging from Nashville. The album remains a definitive, crowd-pleasing highlight of his extensive mid-century discography.
