Album Notes & Community Reviews

Collaborating with his legendary Brazos Valley Boys, the Texan bandleader executes a flawless synthesis of danceable swing and heartbreaking honky-tonk realism. The sophisticated arrangements feature immaculate twin fiddles and crying steel guitar, representing the zenith of postwar Southwestern country music.
