Album Notes & Community Reviews

Supported by his immaculately tight Brazos Valley Boys, the country star perfectly balances the dancehall rhythms of Western swing with the emotional grit of honky-tonk narratives. The remarkably polished production highlights his smooth, highly authoritative baritone, securing his dominance in the postwar country music landscape.
