Conceived at the time as his final musical statement, the minimalist composer delivers a deeply elegiac and beautiful collection of ambient works. The double album juxtaposes his signature, soft-pedaled piano meditations with a sprawling, continuous drone remix of the material provided by Akira Rabelais.
