Album Notes & Community Reviews
A profound, utterly unique theatrical document performed entirely on custom-built instruments designed by the composer to execute a 43-tone musical scale. Fusing elements of Japanese Noh theater and Ethiopian folk narratives, the resulting microtonal choral performance exists completely outside the boundaries of the Western classical tradition.
