Album Notes & Community Reviews
The innovative guitarist delivered a stunning set of entirely instrumental tracks, showcasing his pioneering two-handed tapping technique and fluid, jazz-inflected blues phrasing. Supported by a stellar rhythm section featuring his Canned Heat bandmate Larry Taylor, the fluid, groove-heavy improvisations perfectly bridge the gap between progressive rock and early jazz fusion.
