Album Notes & Community Reviews
Shifting away from their rambunctious punk roots, the Finnish ensemble embraced a significantly darker, more complex new wave sound on their sophomore release. Ismo Alanko's lyrics turned intensely cynical and introspective, matching the record's jagged, atmospheric instrumentation and cementing their critical acclaim in Scandinavia.
