Album Notes & Community Reviews

The third full-length from Erik Rutan's death metal powerhouse, 'I, Monarch' is a landmark of technicality and brutality. The album is renowned for its relentless speed, labyrinthine song structures, and the addition of drummer Derek Roddy, whose jaw-dropping performance is often cited as a benchmark in extreme metal. It refined the band's chaotic assault into a more precise, yet equally punishing, form of sonic warfare.
