Biography
Hate Eternal are a Florida death metal band formed in St. Petersburg in 1997 by Erik Rutan. Their seven studio albums, from 'Conquering the Throne' (1999) to 'Upon Desolate Sands' (2018), pair technical, brutal riffing with Rutan's own production. The current line-up is Rutan, bassist J. J. Hrubovcak and drummer John Longstreth, continuing a long history of technically demanding Florida death metal.
