Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded amidst a contentious legal battle with their previous label, this album features the iconic hard rock anthem 'Barracuda', written by Ann Wilson in anger over a sexist industry rumor. The record showcases the band's signature duality, contrasting powerful, Zeppelin-esque rockers with delicate, acoustic folk-driven ballads like 'Dream of the Archer'. The album was certified triple-platinum in the United States.
