Biography
Heart is an American rock band from the Pacific Northwest, led by sisters Ann Wilson, on lead vocals and flute, and Nancy Wilson, on guitar and vocals. Formed from earlier groups led by Roger Fisher and Steve Fossen, the band broke through in the 1970s with 'Dreamboat Annie', 'Little Queen' and the hit 'Barracuda', blending hard rock with folk. A new line-up behind the Wilsons staged a major comeback in the 1980s with 'Heart' and 'Bad Animals', including the number one singles 'These Dreams' and 'Alone'.
