Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as a transitional record, 'Passionworks' marks the end of Heart's early hard rock era before their massive mid-80s commercial reinvention. The album introduces heavy synthesizers and a distinctly polished AOR sound under the guidance of producer Keith Olsen.
