Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the first album fully produced by the Wilson sisters, this project attempted to balance their hard-hitting rock origins with smoother, contemporary pop arrangements. 'Private Audition' notably struggled to find a cohesive sonic identity, suffering from a perceived lack of the soaring anthems that previously defined the band. It precipitated a significant career slump before their massive, highly polished comeback in 1985.
