Album Notes & Community Reviews
The Swedish folk innovators continue their radical modernization of Nordic folk music by blending progressive folk arrangements with distinct avant-folk sensibilities. Incorporating traditional Sami Joik singing, 'Hippjokk' presents an intensely rhythmic and fiercely unique take on ancient musical traditions.
