Biography
Hedningarna, The Heathens in Swedish, is a Swedish folk band formed in 1987 by H氓llbus Totte Mattson, Anders Norudde and Bj枚rn Tollin around ancient Scandinavian instruments, several of them hand built. With Finnish singers Sanna Kurki-Suonio and Tellu Paulasto, 'Kaksi!' (1992) and 'Tr盲' (1994) on #Silence Records# mixed joik, runo song, hurdy-gurdy and fiddles with sampling and rock. After a quiet decade the founding pair returned as a trio with '&' in 2012.
