Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded at the Castlefest in the Netherlands, this extraordinary audiovisual experience served as the international breakthrough for the experimental Nordic folk collective. Utilizing reconstructed historical instruments, human bones, and throat singing, the ensemble channels a deeply spiritual, terrifyingly primal atmosphere that feels more like an ancient pagan ritual than a concert.
