Album Notes & Community Reviews

Led by visionary noisemaker Jojo Hiroshige, this early compilation-style release documents the wildly destructive and completely improvised live performances of the Japanese collective. 'King of Noise' subjects rock instrumentation to extreme levels of amplifier feedback, screeching distortion, and uninhibited screaming, obliterating any semblance of traditional musical structure. The record is an absolutely foundational text for the international Japanoise movement.
