Album Notes & Community Reviews
Melbourne and Nunns recorded the album with singer Aroha Yates-Smith only weeks before Melbourne's death, closing a partnership that had rebuilt the playing of taonga puoro from museum silence. Melbourne was appointed an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit in the 2003 New Year Honours, days before he died.
