Soft Spot

Album Notes & Community Reviews

On their seventh full-length album, 'Soft Spot', Honningbarna pushes their sound into more experimental territory, blending visceral post-hardcore and noise rock with elements of industrial, post-punk, and even black metal. The record is defined by its synthesis of opposites, pairing raw, throat-shredding vocals and a relentlessly propulsive rhythm section with moments of indie-rock accessibility and adventurous song structures. Lyrically, the album explores existential themes of embracing fate and the constant pursuit of a self-determined life, creating a thematic counterpoint to the music's often chaotic and abrasive delivery.
