Biography
Honningbarna is a Norwegian punk rock band from Kristiansand, formed in 2010. They are celebrated for their high-energy live performances and politically charged lyrics sung in their native tongue. The band gained immediate national attention after winning NRK P3's 'Årets Urørt' (This Year's Untouched) in 2011. A defining and unique feature of their hardcore punk sound is the integration of a cello, played by frontman Edvard Valberg. Their debut album, 'La alarmane gå', won them a Spellemannprisen (Norwegian Grammy) and established them as a significant force in Norwegian music, releasing their music on labels like #Virgin Music# and #Nye Blanke#.
