Album Notes & Community Reviews
Another influential masterpiece from the British band, 'Rustic Houses, Forlorn Valleys' perfects their unique blend of pastoral and electronic sounds. The album is a beautiful and deeply melancholic work, fusing the patient, atmospheric qualities of post-rock and slowcore with a rich tapestry of field recordings and subtle samples. It's a calm, nocturnal record that perfectly evokes the feeling of a quiet, misty English countryside.
