Following a devastating studio flood that destroyed their equipment, the British quintet rebounded with a remarkably buoyant, synthesizer-heavy third album. The record largely abandons their previously murky, noise-rock guitars for motorik krautrock grooves and massive, highly uplifting pop hooks detailing frontman MJ's struggles with depression and weight loss. The band dissolved shortly after the album's release following severe abuse allegations against the vocalist.
