Biography
Hookworms were a Leeds psychedelic rock quintet formed in 2009, performing under initials only: MJ, JW, EO, MB and JN. Their motorik, reverb-heavy sound peaked critically with 'Pearl Mystic' and 'The Hum', before 'Microshift' in 2018 moved toward electronics and melody. The band dissolved in 2018 after abuse allegations against singer MJ, which he denied, were made public by a third party.
