Album Notes & Community Reviews
Becoming an absolute commercial juggernaut, the band's major-label debut dominated mid-90s radio with its unpretentious, remarkably catchy blend of jangle pop and roots rock. Darius Rucker's distinctively deep, warm baritone led the record to astronomical sales, ultimately becoming one of the best-selling albums in American music history.
