A New Stereophonic Sound Spectacular

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally released under the moniker 'Hoover', the Belgian ensemble delivered a pristine, highly cinematic take on the burgeoning trip-hop sound. The production merges heavy, breakbeat-driven rhythms with sweeping, retro-futuristic pop melodies and prominent use of the theremin. Liesje Sadonius's detached vocal performance perfectly complements the lush, profoundly melancholic atmosphere of their international breakthrough.
