A surprise release and the band's first new material in 22 years, 'Inlet' expands on Hum's established fusion of space rock and alternative metal with some of their heaviest and most intricate arrangements. The album's rich, self-produced sound highlights dense guitar layers and powerful dynamics, complementing emotionally direct songwriting and serving as the final recording with original drummer Bryan St. Pere.
