Album Notes & Community Reviews

This landmark international debut introduced the astonishing vocal techniques of the Tuvan quartet to a global audience. Utilizing indigenous instruments like the igil and khomus alongside virtuosic, multi-tonal throat singing, the ensemble paints vivid sonic landscapes reflecting the nomadic, equestrian culture of the Siberian steppes.
